The only way to be absolutely sure that a product is organic, is to look for a hallmark on the packaging. In the Netherlands this is the EKO hallmark. Skal is the only independent international inspection organisation for the organic production in the Netherlands that can grant permission to use the EKO hallmark. Because of the extensive measures of control and supervision, the quality and organic origin of all EKO products is absolutely guaranteed. Skal is part of the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs. | |

Since 2002, Yarrah Organic Petfood has been registered under the company name Vink Sales BV with KRAV licence number 20002605-01. KRAV is an independent organisation for the supervision of organic production in Sweden. Following strict regulations, KRAV gives out organic certificates. KRAV is accredited through IFOAM | |

In 2008, Yarrah Organic Petfood was certified and accredited by the Norwegian Debio authority. Debio deals with the inspection of organic production in accordance with the Norwegian "Regulations on the Production and Labelling of Organic Agricultural Products". | |

Yarrah has been recognized and certified by the Vereniging Proefdiervrij (Dutch Association for replacement of Animal Testing). Proefdiervrij aims at abolishing all scientific experiments on animals in the Netherlands. Proefdiervrij seeks to raise awareness of the plight of laboratory animals. | |
