Vega recipe updated*
(continue reading lower on this page)
Tasty vegetarian chunks made from soya beans with added organic peas, carrots and rosehips. Ideal for dogs that have difficulty digesting animal proteins or people that like to feed their dogs less or no meat. Recommended for dogs from 1 year old. A complete, nutritious and highly appetising meatless meal for your dog. Only pure food, free from artificial additives, pesticides and GMO. The most digestible sources of plant-based protein have been carefully selected to make sure your dog gets exactly what it needs.
This 150-gram alu dish is vegetarian and doesn’t contain meat. Organic soya beans are the main ingredient and are a source of protein. The organic peas in the dog food chunks Vega are gluten free and provide an extra source of fibre. They also help to keep blood sugar levels down. Organic carrots contain vitamin A1 and beta carotene. Vitamin A is important in the formation of capillaries and therefore the health of all cells. The added organic rosehips are packed with vitamin C, A, B1 and B2. They can act as an anti-inflammatory agent, clean the blood and protect against cancer and cardiovascular diseases. Thanks to the high level of water, this alu dish keeps your dog hydrated.
Every dog is different. That is why you can determine the perfect daily amount of organic chunks vega for your dog under the nutritional tab below, based on the weight of your dog.
If you want to spice up your dog’s daily routine, we recommend the following Yarrah products:

or larger dogs
Yarrah has been producing organic dog and cat food since 1992. Not just for the sake of it, but as a deliberate and conscious attempt to lead the way towards positive change. Farms are personally checked to maintain a close relationship and to continuously improve the quality of the organic products. No hidden ingredients, no chemical additives, just pure organic food for dogs and cats since 1992.
* The quality of our food and therefore your pet’s health is our top priority. This is why we revisit our recipes on a regular basis to make sure they still meet legislative requirements and comply with the (European) FEDIAF guidelines for pet food. Unfortunately, the vegan vitamin D2 supplement was recently removed from the ‘Feed Additives Registry’, which means we can no longer use it. We are working around the clock to try and get this plant-based vitamin back on the list (since the ingredient is deemed suitable for human consumption) or find a plant-based alternative. For now, we have no choice but to update our recipes. The D2 vitamin in our pet food will be replaced by an animal-based D3 supplement from sheep’s wool fat. As a result of this update, our wet food in alu dish in the Vega product line is now vegetarian instead of vegan.
