What does zinc do exactly?
Zinc is important for building proteins and ensures transport of carbon dioxide (CO2) in the blood. Zinc sees to it that your four-legged friend has strong bones. It also makes your cat or dog’s fur and skin healthier. Furthermore, zinc is good for the smell, taste and appetite, meaning your pet will be even more eager to eat his food! Zinc boosts the immune system. A deficiency could lead to your pet being more prone to infection and recovering more slowly. Consequently, we see to it that there is enough zinc in our food.
