Why do some Yarrah products contain sunflower seed husks?

We occasionally use sunflower seed husks from the Netherlands, Germany and Ukraine in both our cat and dog food. It might not sound tasty, but they’re really rather useful! Sunflower seed husks contain plenty of dietary fibre. This makes them good for intestinal function and preventing constipation. Sunflower seed husks contain methionine, an amino acid that the body is not capable of producing by itself. Amino acids are the building blocks of proteins and muscle tissue and are indispensable when it comes to the body functioning properly. Which is why we also add sunflower seed husks to our food.
