Certificates for vega(n)
Plant-based pet food with official certification: quality marks from The Vegetarian Society, The Vegan Society and European Vegetarian Union (EVU).
Our vegetarian and vegan dog food carries three leading quality marks:
The Vegetarian Society, The Vegan Society and the European Vegetarian Union (EVU).
We are proud of this, because it proves that plant-based food for dogs is not only possible, but also complete, nutritious and responsible.
What do these certifications guarantee?
- No ingredients of animal origin are present (for vegan: none whatsoever).
- Strict separation in the production process.
- No animal testing has been carried out.
- Ingredients are fully traceable.
Transparent, honest and independently assessed. For EVU, it also means that products comply with the European V-Label standard, one of the most recognised labels in Europe.
Why Yarrah develops vegetarian and vegan products
More and more people are consciously choosing plant-based diets – for themselves and sometimes also for their dogs. Not as a compromise, but as a conviction. Many dogs thrive on a plant-based diet, provided it is complete and balanced. We have also found that dogs with allergies to animal proteins do very well on our complete vegetarian and vegan foods. That is why we develop vegetarian and vegan recipes that:
- Contain all essential nutrients.
- Are perfectly suited to dogs with allergies or sensitivities.
- Reduce the ecological footprint.
It's a step forward. And we're happy to take it together.
What does this mean for you and your dog?
- You can be sure that you are feeding your dog a 100% vegetarian or vegan product that contains all the nutrients your dog needs.
- Ideal for dogs with sensitivities or for owners with a plant-based lifestyle.
- You are contributing to a lower environmental impact by using fewer animal-based raw materials.
This way, you can make a positive difference by making a conscious choice.
